Well, a while back I reached out to read, read his listen to the podcast.

And since we started doing our 3 p.m. episodes, we were looking for different people who had different

experiences from different cultures to come on and teach us. And immediately, like the first person

I thought of was read. And specifically read for Thailand. And so we're excited to come

for you to come on and to teach us about Burma jokes okay Thailand

yeah hopefully I can do this justice yeah so my mom is actually from Thailand

she was born just right outside of Bangkok and And so growing up, there was always like that

Thai influence in the home, whether that was like through our food or just stories in general.

And I remember as a young kid being half Thai and not being able to speak the language,

there was kind of like this, like,

disconnect with like my heritage, right? I wasn't really, like, I could say that I'm Thai,

but I didn't really know what that meant. All it meant for me was just like, when I had snacks at school, like I ate like seaweed and like weird snacks. All other kids like had gushers and they

were like, what are your snacks smell so

weird that's what being Thai meant to you I was like I'm Thai you know so that was kind of just like

to the extent as a young boy like that's what it meant to me was just like I ate things differently

than other like than my friends did so that was like my initial upbringing i guess and then as i got
