Kirk's accused assassin in court. I'm Chris DeMayo Fox News. The man accused of assassinating

conservative political activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk appearing in court in

person for the first time on Thursday. Judge Tony Graff addressed concerns from Charlie Kirk's

widow, Erica, and the media about secrecy surrounding the court proceedings.

There were complaints from Tyler Robinson's defense team about cameras showing him in shackles,

and the judge did rule that was a violation of decorum rules.

He ordered the cameras to be relocated but did not outright ban them from the courtroom.

Another issue the judge is considering is whether or not transcripts from a previous closed hearing in October will be released. That issue led to the court to go into a two-hour closed session.

The issue of cameras during the trial will be taken up in February.
