Let's imagine you're in your first couple years in Mozambique, what does that like?

Wow. Imagine coming to a place where it's absolutely jungle for 600 square kilometers around you.

And that was the specific place we thought where the most work was needed at it was dark it was dead

in the area so many witchy doctors and people said to me you are absolutely crazy going into a wild

place like that was me and my wife we had a tent one vehicle the elephant grass five meters tall

it was it was crazy. Very alone. I felt the loneliest I've

ever been. I felt God left me because here we are, felt the calling, went, did what God told us to do,

set up the base in tents. Got into it. And in a very spiritually dark, dark, dark place.

Extremely. In fact, during my first month on the mission field, right there,

and I said, God, I'm here, what now?

And it was all quiet. I didn't hear the voice of God.

And I got a little bit anxious at that stage.

And in that anxiousness, suddenly three witch doctors shows up, suddenly from nowhere.
