1:36.2	and why I believe we in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are stuck. Okay, I'm going to
1:42.6	start by giving you a little bit of a rundown of what we're
1:45.7	going to talk about today. I'm going to walk you through. There are several developmental stage
1:51.0	theories in faith development, and I chose my favorite one. It's a stage theory created by a scholar,
1:59.2	a psychiatrist by the name of Scott Peck. He wrote the road less
2:03.3	traveled series, and I find him to be a fantastic explainer and interpreter of faith development
2:11.5	theories. Then I'm going to talk about variations of how we feel and how we experience each other in different stages of faith.
2:20.3	I'm going to talk about features of institutions in lower stages of faith development.
2:25.3	And then I'm going to finish off by talking about how we, as members of a faith community,
2:31.3	can help the faith community become more psychologically and spiritually
