The Open University, the future is open. Hello and welcome to be the episode 399 of real life ghost stories and I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from October the 5th, 24.

And story number one comes from Ashley. It was Halloween 2019. I was single in my mid-20s and just bought my first house a few months prior.

I was still getting used to the neighbourhood.

Hadn't met many neighbours, still haven't, to be honest, but what can I say?

And feeling a little overwhelmed and lonely.

Didn't have a dog yet, so I stayed around the house to give out candy and watch hocus pocus.

I didn't want the house to get egged for being that person in the neighbourhood who didn't give out candy, so I bought a lot to appease the rowdy

beasts. Everything was going great. I love the smaller kids that come up with their little princess

or Spider-Man costumes and give their little shy twic-a-tweets.

The neighbourhood apparently had tons of those kitties and it was fun.

But as the night went on, the older ones started coming out, probably elementary or middle

school age.
