My name is Annie Rogers, and on behalf of the attitude team, I'd like to thank you for

joining today's ADHD experts presentation titled How Emotional Disregulation and ADHD

to transform teen relationships from messes to minefields.

Emotional regulation is central to daily functioning and well-being, but teens with ADHD are twice

as likely as their neurotypical peers to struggle with emotional dysregulation.

In fact, emotional dysregulation is known to decrease quality of life for teens with ADHD

more than ADHD symptoms alone.

A troubling finding in the midst of a teen mental health crisis exacerbated by the pandemic.

As teens with ADHD navigate adolescents from friendships and budding relationships to

changing hormones and even appropriate social media use, they need tools to help manage

myriad emotional demands, especially in light of today's disorienting and unprecedented

anxieties.

In today's webinar, we will get a better understanding of emotional dysregulation, its relationship

to ADHD, and what caregivers can do to help improve coping skills in teens.

Following today's presentation is Dr. Ellen B. Littman.

Dr. Littman is a clinical psychologist licensed in New York State.

She has been involved in the field of attentional disorders for more than 30 years.

Dr. Littman focuses on a high IQ, adult and adolescent ADHD population.

She specializes in identifying and treating complex presentations of ADHD that may be misinterpreted

or overlooked.
