Elizabeth Landis graduated from The Ohio State University with a master’s degree in French. She and her husband Greg have five children whom they have homeschooled K-12. In 2016, a local issue pulled her into the civil realm, and she has been uncovering the forgotten realm ever since. She currently works as assistant to the president at New Saint Andrews College where she founded the college’s civics club in 2020.

I would have assumed it was like a fantasy book. I was like, man, it's this like the forbidden realm,

the, you know, the hidden realm. And so it is the forgotten realm. And you really go into that.

Well, first of all, thanks for having me on.

And I am a 25-year homeschool mom. So just finished my last year when our son graduated from high school a year ago. He just finished his freshman year in college. He's number five. I've been married to my husband. I forget how

many years because it changes every year. I'm looking forward to 40. We're getting close to 40,

and then I can remember it for a while. I think it's going to be 38 in June. It's gone so fast.

He is, I would say, the logic brains behind my book, The Forgotten Realm.

And I said to him, why don't you write this?

And he said, well, I'm not the one with the passion.

So we have lived in the Midwest and we moved to Idaho seven years ago.
