A welcome to the pre-med years Thank you so much for joining me today. I have an awesome guest who I worked

with many years ago, not many, several years ago, and whose life just got in the way. Now Mike Tyson has a famous quote

that said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face and that's what

happened to Shahan. But what he didn't do was give up. He always had his plan A in mind and never detoured

from his plan. And through having multiple kids and through all of life's journeys and struggles, he has now

had an amazing application cycle and we talk about stats and everything else, but with more than a

dozen acceptances and ultimately picking a medical school in the Northeast in a small town called to Boston. I'll let him

tell you where he's going. Shehahn has an amazing story of perseverance, an amazing story

of really a lot of success as well. He never really struggled and

had to overcome a poor GPA but he had to figure out what he wanted his life
