Welcome to the Fallout lorecast, the podcast that explores the boundaries of our knowledge about the world of Fallout.

0:09.0

It's kind of crazy to think about how we've spent the last few months talking about the Fallout TV show and last week talking about a fan film project.

0:18.0

And now I'm back to talking about pre-war businesses picking up from a

0:23.1

thing that I was doing months ago and had been doing for a number of months. And catching back up

0:29.1

with that, we are still alphabetically only in the C's. That's right, ABC. This week we are starting

0:37.4

with Coffee King. And we'll see how many we get

0:40.1

In fact, this one, Coffee King, only has one mention,

1:41.3

well, one mention across two games. That specific location that Coffee King

1:46.6

is mentioned happens to be on a coffee machine. This is a 3D model of a coffee machine. One of those

1:53.6

old-timey-looking coffee machines you would see at like a diner. And on the side, it says

1:59.0

Coffee King. Shows up in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.

2:02.6

And that's it.

2:03.6

We have nothing other than that, other than some concept art that was released showing that they were designing this to look a little more art deco than the one we actually get in the game.

2:13.6

The one we get in the game is pretty simplified.

2:15.6

And probably because they wanted to reduce the number of polygons and things like that. It looks, and this
