| 0:15.0 | I hope you're ready. I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God, |

| 0:23.3 | Now notice the apostle Paul starts out with an if statement. |

| 0:29.9 | He says therefore if you are in Christ you are in new creation. So we have to start out there |
| 0:38.8 | we have to ask ourselves first of, am I in Christ? What does that mean to be in Christ? Well, the |
| 0:50.0 | Apostle Paul uses that phrase most in the New Testament and he uses it in a couple of |
| 0:55.1 | different ways but one of the ways which is the way I believe he's referring to in |
| 0:59.8 | this particular instance is to be analogous or mean the same thing as are you |
| 1:08.1 | a true believer in Jesus Christ because if you are, Jesus himself has placed you into him. |
| 1:20.0 | Your identity is now wrapped up with his. |
| 1:22.6 | And so when Paul says, if anyone is in Christ, |
| 1:26.9 | he's saying, if anyone has placed their faith in Jesus Christ |
| 1:31.2 | and is therefore been identified with him. |
| 1:35.6 | Then what is true of them? |
| 1:37.5 | He is a new creation. |
| 1:40.3 | She is a new creation. |
| 1:44.0 | I don't know about you, but we all love new things, right? |
| 1:48.3 | We love to have a brand new pair of shoes. |
| 1:50.5 | We all love to have a brand new car. We all love new things. And here's the best |
