So what polygraph actually infers is whether or not the examinee person being tested genuinely believes what they're saying is true.

Things are not always what they seem.

Truth and deception like sugar and salt.

They look the same, even up close.

That's why a legitimate polygraph, when used properly, is still one of the best behavioral assessment tools, I think, that we have.
