In this week’s installment of Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee [UNCENSORED], host Jason Lee, along with co-hosts Blue Telusma and DJ Damage, welcome California Congresswoman Karen Bass as the featured guest and special guest Donte Westmoreland, a long-time friend of Lee’s from Stockton, who at age 22, served more than three years of an almost eight-year sentence in Kansas prison for marijuana possession, before Lee, engaged Bass, and together with Westmoreland’s lawyer, got him a temporary released and retrial after finding alleged prosecutorial misconduct.

0:48.0	he was in prison for a larger part of my younger years.
0:51.5	And like a lot of us, people of color,
0:54.0	you know, a lot of our family members or friends
0:56.1	or people that we love have found themselves
0:58.3	in trouble with the law, whether it was justifiable or not.
1:01.2	Some incarcerated for things that they did or allegedly did and never did.
1:05.6	And the big conversation in this country right now is prison reform.
1:09.5	And so today's show, I'm so excited that we get to finally meet the person Dante West Marlin who I told you all a lot about here on Hollywood
1:16.5	a lot that I was working to get out of prison and so he's actually out now and will be joining us.
