He said the week before Thanksgiving, the giants are on the move. Many great hunters consider this time of year to be one of the best times to kill an absolute giant buck. I'm not saying it's that way every time, but I'm not going to miss an opportunity of being in a spot because the wind's not perfect for me. your days are numbered right now. It's not like, you know, not like you can wait a week.

Well, I'm, I'm still chasing out of state.

I was fortunate enough to tag my dear here.

But yeah, I'm done here at Ohio.

I killed early and tagged my target buck and all good.

But I'm chasing in Kansas and in Illinois, And it's been, it's been a little challenging. You know, I'm seeing a lot of nice bucks, but nothing I want to shoot. And I've been spending a lot of windshield time, if you know what I mean. So. Yeah, that's part of hunting out of state. So I think right now, this is like when the tank starts to get empty. I mean, I'm starting to get text messages of, you know, are you still after it? Or, you know, like this is when everyone starts questioning their approach, their game planned, because they're still hunting hard. And I hate to be the first guy to say it, but it is going to get harder and not easier at this point in the season, as a general rule of thumb, in my opinion.

Where is your headspace at with an out-of-state pocket in, out-of-state tag in your pocket right now as we are in Thanksgiving week now?

Well, to me, I think a little differently when it comes to that week before Thanksgiving.

If you're out to see a lot of deer, you might be disappointed, you know, because the dozer avoiding the boys and, you know, things are definitely winding down, no matter where you are, starting to wind down.

But if you're after that next level deer or the giant, that's when they're on their feet. That's when they're very, very vulnerable. They're tired. They're walking in a somber, so to speak.
