Welcome back to the morning mindset. It is time for us to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

That is the goal of the morning mindset and I want to put something into your thought processes this morning

that could change the trajectory of your day and not just this day but every day from

here on and here it is here's what I want you to ponder today.

You are no longer an irritable, angry, frustrated, responding person.

You aren't.

You are now a reflection of Jesus Christ in this world.

And all of that is true if you have placed your faith

your full complete trust in Jesus Christ that's what the Bible teaches us in

Colosha's three we've been looking at this reality that we are on the hook

to set our minds in a certain place. We're not to be people of reaction. We're to be people who respond as Jesus would

respond. Paul tells us to set our minds on things that are above, on the

truth as God sees it, the perspective he above on the truth as God sees it the perspective he has on this situation.

That's where our minds are to be set, not on things that are on this earth, such as irritation

and anger and frustration.

And Paul's basis for that is an issue of identity.

He says, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Now if that phrasing is a little foreign to you,

if it sounds odd to say that you've died and your life is now hidden, go back and listen to the previous

because we've talked about it there but it's the basis for which we now have both

the responsibility and the power to set our minds in certain places. And the issue here is that when we
