This week we are talking about the 2002 film adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo.

I have to tell you that when I started watching this I was overwhelmed

with these feelings of like we used to live in a society like man to just see an

adaptation of a French novel with a great cast well made not a huge budget

But it was a huge success not just financially, but almost critically.

I was like, damn, this is, and it's not a perfect film by any stretch of the imagination,

but just the fact that this kind of summer blockbuster used to exist.

I was like, we've fallen from God's grace.

You know, what did you think about this?

Oh, I don't think this movie is very good.

But also, I was wrapped the entire time.

Like this is a very, this is such an interesting story to watch.

But then Jim Kavizal is there and that just gives so much of what happens at this movie such a weird tinge to it that you and like the and the way they've like characterized they've drawn his character is so weird which we will get into and like they've clearly

added so much stuff about God that isn't done the same way as it is in the book

that like it's one of those things where I was like there, there were certain points where I'm like,

oh, I see why Jim Kavizel did this movie.
