Wastelanders and Vaultwellers, welcome back to the Fallout lore cast. This week we are diving into episode 6 of season 2, The Other Player.

And I've got thoughts about this other player and a number of the other things that

were revealed in this episode. This is the closest look so far that we've had directly focusing on

the enclave's influence over these companies like Valtek. Plus, we've got huge reveals when it

comes to what is actually going on in Barb's mind.

And I don't know if you noticed it, but Ron Perlman was in this episode covered by a bunch of green makeup.

We're going to go over all the lore connections to the games and also some of the other

little details I've noticed in this episode.

And of course, I've got some

speculation about where things are going. So let's get into it.

This episode opens up with Barb at a meeting. She is the executive at Voltaq hearing all of the different plans

for everything from how to market the explosions and the sizes of the nukes to some other

little details we'll get to in a minute. One of the things to note about immediately is that

she is looking at these explosions on the screen and you can see it in her eyes.

And oftentimes when you show a character's eyes with an image overlaid on top of that,

it shows something that they're thinking about.

This is juxtaposed later on with the picture of her family.

And you can see that she's weighing her choices and what choices she might actually have

in such a difficult and dire situation.

Also notice that throughout this meeting, she doesn't eat.

Everybody else is eating or smoking, but she is not.
