Summary

A web series about infamous Boston gangster Whitey Bulger came about through personal sacrifices learned early in his life, says Jeff Hennessy, who wrote, directs, produces and acts in Whitey. Bulger was caught in Santa Monica, California, after 16 years on the run. Jeff’s life turned upside down in 1971 when both parents died in a plane crash. At 15, the “silver spoon” son of a prosperous family in Wellesley, MA, Jeff had to dig deep inside for determination to carry on. He learned the value of sacrifice and persistence in reaching his goals.

1:33.6	wanted list but i came up with this because i'm a boston boy um i thought the story was great
1:39.5	him being a boston criminal i grew up in boston his brother was a politician speaker speaker of the House of Representatives. Good heavens. And named Billy Balger. So, I mean, a good word to put it is it was the perfect storm of crime. So I'm really excited that this is the project I'm working on right now, but I have some more, you know, in the back too, as well on the burner. Was his brother as corrupt as he was? well it's all in your definition of corruptus i mean he was a very uh you know he's still alive so it's a very controversial thing but i mean he was a white-collar guy nobody knows how much he knew he beat nine uh investigations grand jury investigations he beat all nine all nine, trying to find out where
