Hello and welcome back to Moonbeaming, my dears. I am the

rill to be with you here today because we've got a special guest and we are talking about a

four-letter word as my mother would say, work, work, W-O-R-K, not cute work like drag queen work,

but work, W-O-R-K. Did you know that work simply means to do? That's what it means. That's like

the entomology of the word. Boy, has it become loaded? Has it not? Has it not? I think that now more

than ever is the time to interrogate and reflect upon our relationships to work and what we think

it means and how it could be different. I don't think we've ever lived in a time where more people

are questioning work, questioning their purpose, and questioning the system of capitalism.

You know, it's made up, humans made it up, and if you're sort of wondering why things are

this way and really wanting to figure out a different way, you're not alone, you know? Because

the concept of work and the system of work is made up by humans, humans can change it. We can.

I believe we can. The bar for being treated ethically and compensated well is so, so low. When

it comes to work in the United States of America, and this has to change, it just simply has to
