Glad to have you. The topic of the episode is the time we paid cash for a house in three days.

So yes, that's actually what happened. I'm going to tell you a story from one of my experiences in real estate investing and talk to you a

little bit about a strategy or an approach, a benefit that we have as real estate investors that

we can add value to other people who are selling properties. And that has to do with having cash

available to buy a property and being able to do it quickly. I'm going to compare that to a story that one of my favorite investors, Warren Buffett,

did during the depths of the Great Recession.

But before I get into that topic, I want to make a couple of announcements.

One of those is that as you're listening to this show, probably around May 13th of 2019,

if you listen to it at the very beginning when it comes out, I'm doing

an in-person event. If you happen to be in the southeast, kind of near Greenville, South Carolina,

which is pretty near where I live in Clemson, South Carolina. I don't get out often and do live

events anymore. I'm mainly online and staying at home close to family. But on May 20th, I'm going to be speaking at the

upstate Rio group, upstate Korea group in Greenville, South Carolina. It's a Monday evening.
