He also co-leads Stanford's Neurotechnology initiative.

E.J. and his team are creating a device that will literally bring sight to the blind.

That device, of course, is fascinating, as is the science it's built upon.

That science and the research that's underway in E.J.'s lab is on the outer frontier of

what we know about the human brain.
