They tested me for cystic fibrosis and I was positive.

You do not get in adulthood. Most people, they'll not graduate high school,

they'll not go to college, they'll not get married, they won't have kids, they won't live a normal life.

Throughout my life, I felt like I had cystic fibrosis for a reason. Every summer in college, I went and worked at a youth camp.

And Amy was working at this place as well.

I was selected to go to a paratrooper school and learn how to jump out of airplanes.

Thankfully, I had already committed to work at the camp.

Got it married a year later and we left in jet ski. We wanted really kids, but we knew that

ultimately we couldn't have them, you know, directly.

Josh and I got a phone call from a woman who we have never met who said, would you like to be the parents of my child?

That we would be able to raise a child is a miracle.
