podcast. We kind of talk about it all. It is going to be the best of the best, these little tiny

tweaks that have made a big difference in my own life. And you're also going to get a peek

and monthly routines. So let's just jump right into it. Number 39, brush your teeth before

eating or drinking anything in the morning. Overnight, bacteria multiply in our mouth,

which is why most of us, myself very much included, wake up with very gross breath in the

morning. And if you eat or drink

before brushing, you're going to swallow a lot of those bacteria, which can disrupt your gut microbiome.

And it's also worse for your enamel, especially if you have anything acidic for breakfast.

So I wake up and literally the very first thing that I do is I brush my teeth and I scrape my tongue to break up those bacteria colonies.

Well, actually, the first thing that I do, the very first thing that I do is I pee.

And then that is the second thing that I do.

And then the third thing that I do every single morning brings us to number 38, which is I drink a big glass of water right after my pee and I brush my teeth.

I do that every single morning, ideally with some electrolytes or a pinch of mineral salt or sea salt in it. I had a

neuroscientist on the podcast and she described our brains as like a sponge. And overnight,

the sponge dries out and we need to rehydrate that sponge for it to work optimally in the

morning. And I was like, yep, that's enough
