Well, I'm excited about what we're going to be talking about today.

And I usually bring in an object that has some kind of meaning and connects to biblical truth.

But today, my object is the Bible.

I've had this incredible experience over the last couple of months of writing devotionals out of some of the hardest Old Testament passages, writing devotionals out of

genealogies or whatever.

All scriptures God breathe and every part of scripture is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training and righteousness.

That means there is no verse in the entire Old Testament or New Testament that's a waste.

There's no unneeded material in the Bible.

Every single verse in the Bible, whether it's weird and strange to you or not, is there for your instruction, for your correction,

for your training and righteousness?

And I have just rediscovered these golden nuggets in what you would say are the weirdest strangest

passages in God's word.
