0:00.0	The Oh, Hello and I have three spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 7th of August 2024 and
0:34.8	story number one comes from Tiffany. I recently wrote to you about my many
0:40.5	experiences including a balloon that followed me around, a shadow person in my
0:45.6	kids closet, and a reoccurring issue with someone invisible rummaging my drawers before I fell asleep
0:51.6	at night. In my story I mentioned how I have had many
0:55.4	odd experiences in my life despite being a general non-believer. I also described how my
1:01.4	catholic husband somehow has had none, until he met me of course.
1:07.0	When I last wrote to you I was in my senior year of an engineering program.
1:11.0	I am happy to say that I have since graduated and started working, which is how
1:15.6	myself, my husband and our three kids migrated from beautiful Southern California to New Hampshire,
1:21.8	also beautiful. I am happy to say that the New Hampshire, also beautiful. I'm happy to say that the new house is
1:25.2	mostly normal and this story does not pertain to things bumping in the night.
1:29.8	We are about an hour drive from Salem and like you it has always been towards the top of my list.
1:37.0	Last Saturday I suggested we go ghost hunting in Salem.
1:41.0	Really we just drove out there, walked around at sunset a bit to sight sea and then got ice cream.
1:47.2	We opted out of an official ghost tour for a self-guided instead and it was lovely. This is where it gets fun. On the drive there my
1:55.8	husband playfully teased me about ghosts following me home. He made the comment
2:00.5	that later I would be the one to be scared of noises in the night and claim the Self-Gided Tour was Proctor's Ledge Memorial. A Google search in the car led me to recent
2:16.1	research that confirmed this to be the actual site of the hangings, not Gallows Hole. It was about a 10 minute walk or so from the witch house and the
2:25.8	hocus pocus house so we made the walk over. The memorial is a little shrine with a
2:32.3	plaque for each of the victims alongside of the other key players.
2:37.0	It has a tree in the middle and a low stone wall around part of it.
