0:46.8	hopes of Hardman, Hungarian Prime Minister and MAGA poster boy, Victor Orman, whose self-styled

0:56.3	opposition to European policies on immigration and gender, not to mention an appetite for high-level
1:01.5	corruption, is so appealing to the American right. Now, Orban, as listeners to this podcast will know,
1:08.1	is an admirer of Vladimir Putin and an outspoken opponent of Ukraine,
1:13.4	which he accuses of being the puppet master to his prime ministerial opponent, Peter Magyar.
1:20.1	If Magyar gets in, next week the election is on Sunday,
1:25.4	and young Hungarians will surely be sent to their deaths fighting for Ukraine, according to Orban.
1:32.4	Now, a clue to the sympathies of the Orban government was provided recently by whistleblowers who noted that Peter Schlato, the foreign minister, was in the habit of briefing Moscow as he attended EU summits. Well, Vance, that
1:46.7	useful idiot, was in Budapest to underline Orban's message that the EU was carrying out a, quote,
1:53.8	disgraceful campaign to bring down his ruling Fides party at the ballot box.
