0:00.0	Good evening everyone. This is Taylor Marshall and I wanted to jump on and talk a little bit about Passion Sunday. Also share some tips on how you and your family can celebrate Passion Sunday,
0:18.3	even though you may not be able to attend Mass sadly tomorrow.
0:22.8	So before we do that, I'm going to share the reading,
0:27.5	the traditional reading for Passion Sunday.
0:31.5	And when you understand why this reading was chosen for the fifth Sunday
0:37.0	and passion you'll understand why we veil images beginning on this Sunday. This is something that's been lost
0:44.9	since Vatican 2. Paul the 6 changed it. I'll mention that briefly how it got
0:49.2	changed. But the gospel that's appointed for Passion Sunday pretty much says it all and it's not that long.
0:57.0	So I'm going to read the whole Gospel.
1:00.0	It's a gospel taken from St John's Gospel, chapter 8,
1:04.8	versus 46 through 59.
1:08.8	Glory be to the, O Lord.
1:11.8	Continuation of the Holy Gospel, according to St. John. At that time Jesus said to the
1:16.2	multitude of the Jews, which of you shall convince me of sin? If I say the truth to you, why do you not believe me? He that is of God
1:26.4	hear if the words of God. Therefore you hear them not because you are not of God.
1:37.0	The Jews therefore answered and said to him, Do not we say well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a devil?
1:41.0	Jesus answered, I have not a devil, but I honor my father. And you have
1:47.1	dishonored me, but I seek not my own glory. There is one that seeketh and
