| 0:16.8 | temporarily, but in the long run, they don't seem to really work. And we just struggle struggle throughout life trying to figure out how do we make |
| 0:25.5 | this life of ours work well. Sometimes we do come up with answers that seem to work but then |
| 0:31.6 | something comes along and messes it up and then we're struggling again. |
| 0:37.2 | We may think, well, if I go to college and get a good degree, I can get a job and all will be well. Well we finish college, we get our job, and |
| 0:47.0 | then we realize a lot of our money goes to expenses and just getting by. Or perhaps we want to find the love of our life and we think when we do that |
| 0:56.8 | everything will be well and then we do find that love. But we realize that love is |
| 1:02.0 | complicated. It comes with things perhaps past |
| 1:05.1 | relationships perhaps jealousy perhaps fears and what seems like would solve all |
| 1:11.1 | our problems doesn't anymore. I think the big one that a lot of people |
| 1:16.1 | look for is retirement. We'll work really hard for 20, 30, maybe 40, and then we can retire and live happily ever after. |
| 1:27.0 | But when we retire, we realize, oh, I may not have as much money as I thought I needed. |
| 1:32.1 | Or, oh, now I start having health problems because my body is aging. |
| 1:37.0 | Or some of my friends or my loved ones are passing because they're older too, |
| 1:42.0 | and they're not with me anymore. |
| 1:44.0 | Okay, enough with the negativity or the darkness. |
| 1:47.5 | I want to give us a tool today that can help us, I believe, have a pretty good happy life. |
| 1:53.6 | It's a very easy tool. |
| 1:55.6 | It's just not easy to do. |
| 1:57.3 | But if we understand it today and then begin to implement it tomorrow. |
| 2:02.7 | I do think our lives will go a lot better |
