Hello and welcome to a

special edition podcast. I'm your host John DeLin and I'm very excited to have

with us several people to announce, you know, a few initiatives. I guess the

first thing that we're announcing is the kind of the official launching of a

new podcast sponsored by Mormon Stories in the Open Stories Foundation. The

podcast has sort of been an existence in a dormant form. It's called Game

Mormon Stories, but it's something that we've been envisioning and planning for

a long time and have been and have been waiting for the right moment to launch

and we think that that moment's now. So to begin with, I have Daniel

Parkinson, my cousin, and Amanda Nockleby, dear friend and ally with me today to

help launch this podcast. So Daniel and Amanda, welcome to the inaugural edition

of Game Mormon Stories and also to Mormon Stories. Thank you. You're

thank you John. In addition, we're trying to do a couple things here. Many of you

will know that we've been trying to feature a book at least around once a month

as part of a feature called Mormon Stories Book Club. And Heather Olson

Beale, again, a dear friend from my days in Texas and beyond, has joined us. She

sort of organized a lot of this and is here for our next monthly installment. So
