Today's episode is a bit of a history lesson.

We're going back to first century Rome, to the time of the Apostle Paul and the Emperor

Nero.

Readers of the New Testament have learned a lot from Paul,

but the life of Nero offers a critical lesson as well.

I wish you could have met my dog, Molly.

Boy, she was a good dog.

As golden retrievers are, she was the best friend to everybody she saw.

Her tail would wag.

She would be happy.

I often want to have a personality of a dog.

You know, because dogs are just, they think everybody is going to be their best friend.

And you would have loved Molly.

And she would have loved you, especially if you gave her a dog biscuit.

Want her to go outside?

Throw a dog biscuit outside.

Want her to sit, hold up a dog biscuit.

Want her to fetch a stick, give her a dog biscuit.

She loved dog biscuits.

And it seemed like she could just eat them as often as you offered them.
