Hey there and welcome back to the Beginners Garden podcast. My guess is that you currently have herbs growing

in your garden. And maybe so far you've mainly used them for use in your kitchen, but perhaps in

the back of your mind, you've also been wanting to explore how to use them for your health in the

forms of herbal remedies. I have actually done a couple of podcast episodes

on medicinal herb gardening, and you guys beg me for more. You're constantly telling me you

want to learn more about this subject. But here's the deal. I am in this with you. I have been

using herbs for my own health and my own kitchen. Just ask my kids. I'm the

crazy lady who always tells them what herb to take, whether they decide to do it or not.

But I am far from an expert. Not at all. I have no business teaching you how to do this.

That's why I brought on the episode today, an herbalist that I have followed and I trust.

Her name is Heidi Villegas from Healing Harvest Homestead.

I have been following her for a couple of years and she's one of my go-to resources when I'm

wanting to know how to use a particular herb in my garden.
