for the ultimate trail camera enthusiast i'm joined this week by my friend and the owner of

black gate trail cameras ryan lawwell and we're diving into everything um infield stuff, details about their camera, just general outline

of cameras, how cameras work, your dollar spend, you know, what are you buying? What is this

equipment? What is it capable of? What are other options in the marketplace? We talk a lot

about data plans. You know, it's often secondary thing that

people look at when they look at price points of cameras, but Ryan points out really the data plan

is where your spend is. You know, you amplify that cost over the course of a couple years.

You know, you invest in a product like this

you expect to get a year's worth of work out of it right and so what does that data plan end up

costing you ultimately and i just he really hammered home on that and kind of open my eyes i i'd

recently been doing a little bit of research about what people are paying for data plans.

And it can be very costly. So if you, I mean, a lot of people I know the crazy people already have cameras out, but obviously there's still tons of time, you know, ahead of deer season to get cameras deployed in states that

you can, you know, people put feed and mineral out in front of them. A lot of states don't allow for that,

Michigan included. We use our synthetic scrape product to put deer in front of our cameras, try to get intel.
