0:58.0	I wanted to share this conversation we had with researcher Laura Ristie here on the Crawl Space Feed.
1:04.0	It previously aired on the Missing Podcast, but we wanted to share it here because it's very interesting.
1:11.0	It's about William Bradford Bishop. This is not a missing person who is a victim.
1:17.0	Actually this is a missing person who is a criminal that we're talking about here today.
1:21.0	And we are joined by Laura Ristie once again who has joined us for our series on Trendy Gibson and Polly Melton and about the disappearance of Dennis Martin.
1:34.0	And that's all from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
1:38.0	As is this case in a very small way. William Bradford Bishop murdered his wife, mother, and three sons in 1976.
1:48.0	And then left his car in the parking lot of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
1:53.0	And by all accounts left to avoid prosecution. He had worked for the US government.
2:01.0	And so it's possible that this is a guy who escaped the country in order to avoid prosecution.
2:08.0	And for anybody who has heard Laura on the show before will know that she comes with a vast amount of research.
2:15.0	She's extremely articulate, extremely detailed and pretty much everything that she brings to the table.
2:21.0	We know has been vetted as completely as possible. And it's always a great conversation with her.
2:25.0	And it's always great to learn about her process. And now let's add that element of fascination to it.
2:31.0	You said that this one has a small connection to the Great Smoky National Park, just like Trendy Gibson and the other ones that we've spoken about.
2:38.0	Laura's created this bit of a universe where the crimes that she investigates independently have some tie to this area.
