I've never felt like I was enough. It's the same story you've probably heard from so many others before me.

When I was presented with what I wanted to do with my life, versus what I should probably do with my life,

I decided to go the route of joining the rat race, because it meant food on the table,

and the slim chance of having enough income to fund what I really wanted to do.

Too bad there's absolutely no sculpting work in Cheyenne, Colorado, which is where I'm from.

Being enrolled at the Laramie Community College with an accounting major certainly isn't something that's filling the missing part of myself,

that seems to keep growing every day. Neither is being stuck driving for Uber to pay for it all.

Knowing that money could go towards materials, a promoter, or fees to have my work featured at Expos over in Denver,

but as instead going towards tuition, books, and whatever new software program my professors make us buy,

which are only ever used for one semester and ever touched again, it kills me inside.

Especially if it means dealing with all the nonsense I face every day at work,

whether it's rude customers, unprompted one-star ratings, or people leaving garbage in my car.
