Sometimes you just need a creative pep talk.

Pizza. Creative block can mean a whole lot of different things, but sometimes it's a very real sense or fear that you're just empty.

You don't have anything else to say. Maybe you feel like you're repeating yourself or that you're just out of ideas.

You don't have anything else to give. In today's episode, we're going to tackle what to do when you're feeling creatively

empty. And we're going to do so with the help of someone who for me has become kind of a creative legend in my own opinion in life.

Writer, music enthusiast and poet, Hanif Abdul-Rakib. Hanif writes books, does talks, and is prolific on social media and also has an amazing creative

podcast called Object of Sound that I've been a fan of for a long time where he interviews incredibly inspiring musicians like

Indy Legends, Soufian Stevens or Bjork and also fresh new voices in the music scene like Barty's Strange.

For me, Hanif represents this type of creator that I aspire to be, as he's always able to bring a fresh story or

insight or perspective into every single one of his many creative outlets on a regular basis.

And so I was excited to pick his brain and kind of figure out how do you stay full as a creator when you're making so many different things.
