Summary
On a warm August day in 2012, 26-year-old Bethany Deaton married the man she believed she’d build her future with, but just two months later she was found dead inside her minivan in a quiet area that didn’t match the circumstances of her final moments. What was first described as her taking her own life began to raise questions as details emerged that didn’t quite align, and people close to her started pointing to changes in her behavior and the influence of those around her. As investigators took a closer look, the situation became harder to explain, with new information suggesting that what happened to Bethany may not have been as straightforward as it first appeared…
