To Be Talk. Today is Monday October 9th and I'm coming to you live from New

York City with an incredible guest today. My guest is comedian Phil Henley. If

you don't know him immediately go check out some of his stuff on YouTube. He's

done a few late night spots and he is a regular at the comedy seller

originating from Vancouver, Canada I believe. And we became friends.

While I've been hanging out in New York the last couple years. Great dude and

we immediately bonded over the grateful dead and Rolex watches so you know

there's a lot of conversation on that on this episode and like I said that's

always how I seem to bond with people is either over music art or something

some kind of clothing and made stuff whatever and next thing you know boom we're

talking for hours and hours in a comedy club about something other than comedy

but this episode is very cool we sit down we talk some dead we talk some

watches we talk a lot of comedy also. Phil's way into Mitch and it's great to

hear how he got his start back in the day doing stand up he's been doing it

for 12 years and although I don't have a lot of stand-up comedians on I do like

to have my friends on and really dig into how they started and how they got

their style and all that stuff. I'm still in New York I'm about to take off

here I've been here for a few weeks it's been incredible and it's also been a

horrible week to say the least you know we lost Tom Petty and I wanted to sit

out and do a full blown episode which I think I will do once I get home because
