This week I get a chance to share Don Sherry Wilkerson with you.

She was like a long lost friend.

I have to tell you we talked about a few things but one of the things that we share in common

are the fact that we're both ministry kids growing up in ministry and then continuing to operate

in ministry in our adult lives.

So we got a chance to swap stories about our experiences and one of the things that

we also swap stories about was how ministry isn't always easy.

The good news is that we both still believe in it that all the things that can happen

at church, you know, people are not perfect and church hurt is real.

We still believe in the local church.

We still believe in serving others in the local church and using our giftings to do so.

Now Don Sherry is in the thick of it.

She currently is a mother of three young children all under the age of four and she's doing

what she knows to do to balance ministry and motherhood and she's doing what most of us

learned to do to continually reassess what's needed as we go because we don't know what
