| 0:07.6 | still here at the very beginning of the year, lots of things ahead, and it's my desire that the morning mindset goes with you every single day of your life. |

| 0:25.0 | You want to get in the habit of setting your mind right every morning. |
| 0:28.0 | You want to get into the habit of putting yourself in a place where you can walk in alignment with the plans of God for your life |
| 0:35.0 | because you're thinking in alignment with the way that he thinks. |
| 0:38.5 | That's the main goal of the morning mindset. |
| 0:42.0 | This morning I want to point out something to you that I know you know about but you |
| 0:46.2 | may not have noticed and that is that we live especially in the Western world. |
| 0:51.3 | We live in a culture where our value is drawn from what we do. |
| 0:57.0 | Now none of us would say that, but look deep in your own feelings in your own soul. |
| 1:03.4 | And I think you'll easily recognize that when we do not have something to do that we feel is significant, |
| 1:11.2 | when our lives seem to be filled with kind of humdrum or mundane things, |
| 1:15.8 | we tend to start doubting our own value. |
| 1:20.1 | I remember a time when I was unemployed. |
| 1:22.4 | I was searching for the type of job that I really wanted to do, the thing I had been |
| 1:27.6 | trained for in my college studies, and I felt that when I was able to do that I would be significant. I would be contributing something of value to the world. |
| 1:37.0 | And in the meantime, while I was searching for that |
| 1:43.2 | job and while I was working part-time jobs to put food on the table and to provide for my |
| 1:46.3 | family I felt that I wasn't doing much of value and therefore I wasn't of much |
