I am a qualified caving instructor and honestly it is not very often at all that I get frightened during a caving trip.

Now it is entirely possible that I have never gotten spooked because I am simply not claustrophobic nor am I afraid of the dark.

I mean, asking someone who likes caving to describe scary moments in a cave is a bit odd.

But if you ask people who hated caving but were somehow roped into it, that's where you're probably going to get scary stories.

Those stories definitely might prove a little more fruitful.

Having said that, there are definitely a few caving trips I have presided over that have not exactly gone according to plan.
