and tell us a little bit about what brought you to trends in magazine and everything you do

Well, the trend story is a long one.

I mean, I began at a graduate school running political campaigns in Westchester County,

And they were grooming me in the party. And they sent me up to

Albany, which is the capital of New York. And I was the assistance of the secretary of the New York

State Senate at 26 years old. And I said, I got into the whole system on the other side. And if you

haven't been on the other side, you don't have a clue what's going on.

And I also designed and instructed American politics and campaign technology. And I taught it at St. John's University, how to run political campaigns. And then I went to work for

a section of the chemical industry. And I was killing environmental legislation at the height of the environmental movement back
