Summary

Summer is a slower selling season for many of us ecommerce warriors. How do you stay motivated? What are some mindset "hacks" if you will that keep you moving forward towards big goals? Today's episode has some stories, some resources and some encouragement to help you keep fighting as a business building warrior! I borrow from scripture, from history and from some of the great members of our community who are inspiring us with their spirit and fight! Stay strong warrior!

In 1945, a young man named Siggy was liberated from a Holocaust death camp at the age of 21.

He weighed 80 pounds.

Of course, he was on the edge of death himself.

He had seen an incredible amount of death all around him for several years leading up to the liberation at the end of World War II.

But that's just the start of this great story.

And I'm not going to tell you the whole story.

There's actually a book about this guy's life.

And there's books about so many people from that era that survived, you know, the only survivor of an entire family

who not only found a way to stay alive and survive the Holocaust, you know, perhaps one of my

favorite stories is Corey Tin Boom.

She talks, her book is titled The Hiding Place.

But there's so many great stories.

Not only do they survive in many cases,

but they overcome the mental anguish of that era, and they thrived. In this case,

it's a book titled Unstoppable, The Story of a Holocaust Survivor, and it's by a guy

named Joshua Green. You can look it up. He's also an American

filmmaker as well, who spent several decades working on pieces related to the Holocaust.

And this particular book, again, the gentleman's name who survived and weighed 80 pounds

coming out of a death camp. His name was Siggy Wilsig, and he built a billion-dollar empire until he passed

at the age of 70, how old was he? He's in his 70s, and he passed away of cancer after

battle. But the fact that he went from losing family, losing friends, the mental and physical, spiritual

torment and anguish of being in a prison camp, and then went on to do something extraordinarily
