He is a senior fellow at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore

National Laboratory, where he conducts research on emerging technologies and U.S. national security policy.

I should be calling him Dr. Brandon because he has a PhD from UC Berkeley,

where he spent a lot of time thinking about the Cold War.

Brandon is going to tell us all about quantum computing.

I've long wanted to do a quantum computing episode.

I am very excited about this.

Brandon wrote two articles recently that caught my eye and spurred me to reach out to him.

One of them he published at Lawfare, and it's called The U.S. needs a strategy for the second

quantum revolution. The other one he published at time. That one is the U.S. must win the quantum computing race. History shows how to do it.
