I just felt really attacked from a Reddit post I just saw that popped up on Instagram because I don't know how to read it. And the Reddit post was titled people who shoved their school papers in their backpack with no binder folder. Where are you now?

Yeah. And that's a cut's deep. That cuts really deep because I don't know, but I'm here. And I'm excited to talk some Yanks, although we do we're opening with kind of a first somber news in what five or four months.

And are you blaming us because of the biggest fears and injuries was a fear and we didn't even mention the fear that Paxton could get hurt. So in a way, yes, maybe you can blame us, but also that means everyone else that we did mention isn't getting hurt.

Yeah. And I mean, you just you just pin this on the old training staff and keep it moving because that's obvious.

It's an interesting injury. So if you hadn't here, you got a cyst on his back. He needs to have back surgery is going to be out three to four months, which puts him near the end of May to come back and start pitching again slides, hop up to the four spot and open audition for the fifth spot.

It happened in that game in Texas at the end of the year when he was out in the mound.

Everyone thought he shit himself or got a cramp or something they didn't they didn't say anything was wrong.

The Texas doctor and the Yankee doctor who was on that trip, Lindsey Adler wrote a great article about this.

Saw him and said, you know, you can probably get that shot up and go out there and pitch again. And he did that.

And he had a good start at the end of the playoffs. That was really well.

And then they said moderate it. See what's going on in the off season to try and stop the pain.

It never went away. They couldn't stop it. Now he needs to get surgery.

A lot of what I'm seeing Jake is like, why didn't they do surgery three months ago?

And to those people, I'd kindly say you're forgetting that he's like not just a baseball pitcher and a human being and like back surgery,

ain't something to fuck around with. Like just because he's an athlete, doesn't mean like, oh, I felt a tweak.

Let's go have surgery on my spine and my back. Right.
