My name is Zach Schamler. This is Strong Opinion Sports

episode 380. Welcome in. Today we are doing NFL predictions for the AFC East and the

AFC South. That is the Buffalo Bills, the Patriots, the Dolphins,

the Jets, Tennessee Titans, Colts, Let me first say today, 380 episodes in, this is the most casual shirt I have ever worn on the

podcast, no collar, I used to wear like those really nice dress shirts and I was like, ah, flannels and and Hawaiian shirts I bounced around today I guess I'm just a lazy slob is the most

casual shirt I've ever worn in my life and it is let me tell you it's way more comfortable

it's not very hot feels good like it's really hot in this

room. Anyway let's jump in I want to share a thought I had today. I want to make a

change to the way I do predictions. Next year my thought is I will do not one but two different

rounds of NFL predictions. One in early to mid August I will probably call that my

well just my early predictions, right?

And then at the end of the preseason,

right before week one starts, I'll do my final predictions.

And that, the benefit of doing it that time

is you can be more accurate with, well, this guy's injured, that guy didn't make the

roster. But I want to really lean into the process because I don't have any ego here.

I really care about being accurate, getting it right, making good content.

And I actually like the thought of putting out my predictions early and then letting people

comment and rip them apart and share their ideas and frankly like some people say good stuff that I haven't thought of yet
