Well, it's a case of all quiet or quietish on the Eastern Front at the moment.

relieved of his duties. Now, he commands or commanded the Eastern Military District Forces,

which actually is one of the five big military districts in Russia and furthest east. So we're

really talking about Siberia. But the relevance to the war, of course, is the forces that naturally come under that district.

And with these forces, it must be said, he's had a notable lack of success.
