Now this week we are building onto the conversation from last week around the centers and we're going to discuss stances.

Stances are essentially the basic posture of our type and how we move through the world, so assertive, compliant, or withdrawn.

In general, these are associated with the center

that is the most repressed.

So assertive types are repressed in the heart center,

compliant in the head center, and withdrawn in the body center.

Remember last week we talked about what can happen when the center is underutilized.

Well, it tends to create these three stances.

So the assertive types are types three, seven, and eight. They move against others and take action to get their needs met.

So an individual in the aggressive stance might display some or all of the following traits.

When they walk into a room, they garner attention questions. might display some or all of the following traits.
