Summary
Elizabeth Shoaf was only 14-years-old when she was led through the woods by Vinson Filyaw, who she believed was a police officer. After being led deeper into the woods for an hour, Elizabeth was horrified to discover that she had been kidnapped and was being forced into a hidden bunker in the ground where she would be kept for the next 10 days. Through an immense amount of bravery Elizabeth was able to outsmart her captor and free herself from his grasp.
