Price. I'm kind of been stalking him ever since he was on Infidelgai and the Bible Geek, so I'm really excited.

Yeah, truth be told, I thought he scared him off when Charlie sent him this real fan boyish email

and I thought, God, that guy's never going to come on our show after seeing that.

We made it, he's on.

you started out as a as a fundamentalist Christian is that right?

What changed your mind?

Well I got into the study of the Bible in pretty minute detail and I began to notice in some of the

stuff that said at the Baptist Church I attended didn't seem to have much scriptural support and that made me a

little suspicious but redoubled my attention to the text and then I got into

apologetic this is when I was I guess just getting I guess I was just getting into college and I got it involved with an intervarsity Christian fellowship group there and read all of their

Interesting books about how the faith is true and has the best perspective

on everything.

I really thoroughly enjoyed that, but I found that the more I got into trying to defend the faith the more I was unable to just relax

and have faith anymore.

I realized if you're going to go back and forth on a battlefield of argument,

even just inside your own head. Faith is really much more difficult to come by. I felt like I did not dare to be dishonest and try arguments

on people to get them to believe in Christ or whatever that I didn't think were cogent and I knew

there were a lot of silly ones out there and that sort of felt like I had to kind of set aside my
