It's actually pretty wonderful seeing little pieces of water fall out of this guy because I have really lost that feeling living in California for the last almost eight years.

It is amazing the different how different it is. I mean California is definitely dry. There's tons of sun and you think well that's fantastic, but it really is nice to get the occasional gray drizzly day. It's sort of fun.

Joanne, what is your job?

Right now I am the Clayton County fire and emergency services. Emergency communication officer. So I do public relations. I do internal affairs and I'm a liaison between the community and our department.

And can you tell us a little bit about your work history?

I have spent 21 and a half years in law enforcement.

Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Clayton County Police Department. I've done online crimes against children, rape, robbery, murder, federal cases, local cases, pretty much everything.

Wow. It sounds like a really broad cross section of law enforcement.

Joanne has a ton of experience and I just want to say how good it is to see you. I haven't seen Joanne. I think in person in years, years.

We have worked together a bunch and it's so great to have her in studio. In fact, what our listeners may not know and Joanne certainly doesn't know is this is only our second live interview where we've had Jim and I and our guests all together and the other was crime.
