If you've listened to the last few episodes, you've likely noticed a recurring theme,

Joseph is resilient. He faced challenge after challenge, but just kept bouncing back. How could

he do that? I think the answer is sovereignty. Joseph saw a big picture of a big active sovereign God.

Here's praying that we do the same.

Don't hold me to the precise details of this childhood memory.

I can't remember who hosted the party.

Can't remember all of the kids who were there, nor can I remember all of

the games that we played. I must have been about eight years of age because of the neighborhood

in which we were living. But what I do remember was my first encounter with the bounce back clown.

Bozo, the bounce back clown. The one I remember didn't have these protruding ears.

He was kind of flat and he didn't have an extended nose, but it was pretty much the same thing,

narrow at the top, fat at the bottom. Couldn't do anything. He didn't push a button and listen to him sing. It didn't, you know,

pull a string and listen to him recite verses. But the one thing this bozo could do was
